1. Who is responsible for your data

Nexus PCBuilds Ltd (company no. 00000000), registered office Merseyway, Stockport SK1 1PD, Greater Manchester, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact us about privacy at hello@nexuspcbuilds.co.uk.

2. What we collect and why

  • Account details — your name, email and password (stored only as a secure hash). Basis: performance of a contract / our legitimate interest in running accounts.
  • Order details — name, email, phone, billing/delivery address, the items ordered, and the build specification. Basis: performance of a contract, and our legal obligation to keep records.
  • Payment — card payments are processed by [Stripe]; we do not see or store your full card number. Bank-transfer payments are matched using the reference we give you.
  • Support messages — anything you send us by email or phone. Basis: legitimate interest in helping you.
  • Server logs — your IP address and basic request data are recorded by our host for security and troubleshooting. Basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking on this site.

3. Who we share it with

Only with the processors we need to fulfil your order: our hosting provider [name], our payment provider [Stripe], and the carrier that delivers your order [carrier]. We may disclose data where the law requires it. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.

4. International transfers

[Some processors, e.g. Stripe, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses. Confirm and list this.]

5. How long we keep it

  • Order and transaction records: 6 years after the end of the tax year, to meet HMRC requirements.
  • Account data: until you ask us to close your account, then removed within [30 days] except where we must keep order records.
  • Support correspondence: [period].

6. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our use of it, or provide it in a portable format. Email hello@nexuspcbuilds.co.uk; we respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

This site sets only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. It does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not load third-party fonts or scripts — the fonts are served from this domain.
